Southshore Enterprises, Inc is Hiring an Office Clerk Near Spencer, IA

Southshore is an ISO 9001:2015 certified third party logistics provider delivering cost effective integrated logistics and outsourcing supply chain solutions to businesses in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. The proof is in our long-term, valued relationships with a wide range of diverse customers. In addition, Southshore develops and leases commercial real estate. We are looking for full time Administrative personnel to join our team in Spencer, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, and other involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintains a clean, neat area
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
  • Shipping and receiving order processing
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Checking and entering data
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Coordinating work flow
  • Checking and distributing documents
  • Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day
Education and Experience
  • Experience working with SAP is a plus but willing to train the right person
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient in use of email and internet
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience

Salary
  • $17.00 per hour
Schedule
  • 5:45am-2:15pm may need to switch to 2nd shift 2pm-10pm after one month
