Immediate openings for reliable, hard-working Manager Assistant to join our team. You must have demonstrated punctual and dependable attendance at your previous employer to be considered for this job.
Responsibilities

• Assist Manager with running an active multi-shift seed distribution warehouse.
• Use of SAP
• Schedule, assign, and perform various warehousing duties related to staffing, receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to train, assign work and motivate warehouse staff.
• Hiring and firing.
• Coaching and developing employees.
• Problem resolution and decision making.
• Monitoring performance and initiating action to strengthen results.
• Interact with vendors, purchase and manage building services.
• Daily communication with office, warehouse workers, suppliers, vendors, and truck drivers via phone, email and in person.
• Ability to run inventory reports, perform inventory counts, and enter data.
• Participate in weekly calls and shift change meetings with local staff and corporate management team.
• Promote safety culture and participate in safety meetings.
• Promote safe operation and preventative maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts, conveyors, baler and floor scrubber.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years prior warehouse supervisory or management experience.
• Able to perform physical work including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, balancing, bending and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift 60lbs.
• Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Prior Experience using SAP or similar WMS.
• Prior experience operation a forklift and scanning equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
