We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will diagnose and treat various dental conditions, educate patients on oral health, and perform dental procedures to improve their overall dental well-being.

Duties:

- Perform routine dental examinations, including comprehensive exams, x-rays, and oral cancer screenings

- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay

- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients to ensure their understanding and consent

- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and crown placements

- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care instructions

- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems (Epic)

- Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean dental environment

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

- Valid state dental license in good standing

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry

- Experience with medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions

- Ability to perform vital signs monitoring during procedures

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients in a clear and understandable manner

- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
