Warehouse SupportConstruction, Industrial and Packaging Supplies Seeking an individual with warehouse experienceto join our team in Phoenix, AZ.2nd Shift 4:00PM-12:30AMMonday-Friday SouthernCarlson, a national distributor of construction, fastening, industrial and concrete supplies, is seeking a warehouse associate to join our team of successful employees in our Phoenix branch. 2nd Shift Monday through Friday. Duties and ResponsibilitiesComplete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory.Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.Receive and fill inventory orders for customers.Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsForklift experience preferredDiligent attention to safety and detailStrong communication and customer service skills Education/Experience DesiredHS Diploma or GED required. 1 years preferred of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment needed. Physical DemandsFrequent lifting up to 90 lbsPre-employment physical assessment requiredFrequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading merchandise and tying down productFrequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedals on trucksExposure to loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes#WHS
