Photography & Video Team Lead
Please Note: Current Corporate policy requires you to be IN the office @ 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA a minimum of three days per week (Currently Monday’s, Tuesday’s & Thursday’s) and/or as required.

Georgia Power is looking for a creative and powerful visual storyteller with a business-oriented mindset to lead its photography and video production group. The team is part of the company’s in-house creative group that supports Georgia Power.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and creative direction for both internal and external facing video production and photography projects. This role is responsible for supervising talent within the group to ensure high quality and service, as well as overseeing the operations of the company’s video and photo studios, control room, and associated technology and equipment.
Qualifications:
Degree in communication, fine arts or related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Demonstrated experience using video production tools and techniques to tell compelling stories and drive audiences to action
Minimum of five years of experience producing high-end corporate productions from concept through completion
Demonstrated ability and experience effectively leading and inspiring a team of creative professionals
Ability to tell a story using words, images, video, and/or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that engages an audience
Extensive knowledge of multimedia technology, video and photography
Knowledge of motion graphics & video production tools/software including (but not limited to) Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience administering digital asset management processes and tools
Familiarity with professional, specialized video and photography equipment
Possess a strong creative, yet critical eye for detail and ability to execute on brand and strategy
Ability to work with senior management to assess their needs and project opportunities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agency-like environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing budgets
Responsibilities:
Lead the team of specialized video and photography professionals that produce content for Georgia Power
Drive and oversee the execution of video and photography projects from concept to distribution
Meet with internal clients to review and understand objectives and capture them in a creative/project brief
Ensure consistency in branding and creative strategy
Oversee the team’s digital asset and file management systems including ingestion, annotation, cataloguing, storage, retrieval and distribution of digital photography and video assets
Manage the maintenance and purchase of equipment including field cameras, studio cameras, wireless systems, microphones and audio, photography equipment and related items
Maintain proficiency in the latest technology and techniques, bringing innovation and creativity to the team’s deliverables
