Overview:

We are a family owned and operated small business seeking a friendly, punctual, hardworking person to join our team. As a water delivery route driver, your main focus will be delivering 5 gallon water jugs (and various other items) to residential and commercial customers across the Cape Fear Region. Our drivers must possess excellent driving skills! You will be driving a cab-over truck with a beverage body.

Delivery drivers have the most face time with customers. Therefore, your customer service skills are essential. You must be able to complete deliveries efficiently and with a smile.

Additional responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks after routes, operating bottling equipment on production days, and various other warehouse/plant maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Complete recurring deliveries to pre-established route customers. (30-60 per day).
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and with a smile.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Operate bottling equipment on production days (one day per week).
• Perform various warehouse/plant maintenance duties when off the road.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pound bottles and perform physical tasks all shift, every shift.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Compensation:

• $16 to $17 per hour based on experience.
