Southern Companies is a well-established trucking company which provides logistical services to many companies around the country. We have locations in Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Dallas and Houston.

As our company is expanding, we are looking to hire an experienced Data Entry Specialist/Customer Service Representative for our Jacksonville Terminal.

• Updating customer/order information
• Communicating with customer regarding orders
• Creating customer invoices
• Ensuring that all work orders are invoiced
• Analyzing order information against corresponding paperwork to ensure that invoices are created accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborating with customers to resolve billing inconsistencies/discrepancies
• Communicating/assisting other departments regarding billing issues
• Organizing and attaching scanned documents

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years previous experience in Billing/Accounting
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Previous data entry experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Highly organized with great time-management skills
• Proficient in Outlook, Web and Office (Excel, Word)
• Must be able to navigate a computer easily
• Must be able to work with multiple programs and screens simultaneously.
• Must be Fluent in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 per year
