Description
Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is now hiring for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced Client Service Representative to lead our team as a Lead Veterinary Boarding Receptionist!
Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is a boarding, grooming and wellness center. Because you are the first and last contact for our clients at the front desk, you are the key to creating lasting impressions. You must have a passion for people and their pets. We expect extraordinary client service and communication, outstanding computer abilities, accurate financial skills, and a consistently positive attitude in this role.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  • Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients.
  • Guide and develop our front desk team.
  • Process invoices.
  • Ensure daily financial close is properly completed.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history.
  • Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests.
  • Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments.
  • Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian.
  • Accurately input data into computer software.
  • Deliver results in areas of staff development, training, client satisfaction, and safety.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary client service setting.
  • Ability to lead by example and positively influence others by managing and participating in the mentorship and training of team members.
  • Positive and productive communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Friendly, encouraging, and professional attitude.
  • Weekend availability as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
