Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. Your role will involve a combination of administrative tasks and clinical duties. Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures

- Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies

- Maintain accurate medical records, including updating patient information and medical history

- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists

- Provide medical administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing patient records

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support (BLS) procedures is highly desirable

- Knowledge of coding systems and insurance billing processes is a plus

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
