Are you a visionary marketing professional with a passion for driving brand growth, developing high-impact strategies, and leading marketing teams to success? If so, we invite you to join our team as our new Growth Strategist / Marketing Analyst.
As our Growth Strategist (aka Growth Hacker) you will be the cornerstone of the company's growth and digital marketing initiatives, responsible for crafting and executing a holistic vision for brand trajectory, market engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of both traditional and digital marketing realms, with a specific emphasis on growth strategies and e-commerce. Merging strategic foresight with hands-on execution, the Growth Strategist ensures that marketing strategies resonate with the company's broader ambitions while promoting innovation in a fluid digital world.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Sets marketing strategies, oversees campaigns, and drives brand awareness.
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
  • Develops strategies to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
  • Orchestrate our overarching digital marketing strategy, aligning it with growth and revenue benchmarks.
Brand Vision:
  • Craft a cohesive brand vision and narrative, ensuring it permeates through all marketing efforts.
  • Engage in regular brand audits to ensure alignment with evolving market trends and company objectives.
Brand and Product Management:
  • Steer the brand's consistent representation across multiple touchpoints and platforms.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with product teams to establish impactful go-to-market strategies.
Strategic Partnerships:
  • Craft and refine the strategic roadmap for partnerships, aligning them with the broader growth objectives.
  • Research, identify, and prioritize potential partners in various sectors that can drive significant user acquisition, revenue, and brand visibility.
Digital Strategy:
  • Develop and drive a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, incorporating SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and other digital channels.
  • Analyze digital performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and integrate the latest digital trends and technologies.
E-commerce Strategy:
  • Design, implement, and refine e-com strategy to enhance the customer experience and drive online sales growth.
  • Partner with DevOps and product divisions to ensure a streamlined and customer-centric online shopping journey.
Website Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance, functionality, and user experience of e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement improvements and enhancements.
Operational Oversight:
  • Lead the creation, roll-out, and assessment of marketing campaigns across diverse channels.
  • Foster a culture of growth, creativity, and innovation within the marketing team and its external partnerships.
Budget & Financial Management:
  • Set, oversee, and allocate the marketing budget, ensuring strategic resource distribution and optimal ROI.
  • Collaborate with finance to monitor marketing expenditures and gauge campaign effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Engage with cross-functional leaders, to align marketing strategies with overarching business objectives.
  • Network with external stakeholders, including industry influencers, media, and partners.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilize data analytics to track, evaluate, and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Innovation & Industry Trends:
  • Stay updated with contemporary marketing trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring the company's forefront positioning.
  • Promote a culture of adaptability and innovation within the marketing team.
Vendor & Agency Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage collaborations with external agencies and consultants.
  • Lead the negotiation process for partnership deals, ensuring favorable terms for the organization while fostering win-win situations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a strategic or digital marketing role.
  • Bonus points for marketing experience in the retail, consumer product, and/or E-com space.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and strategy, with a track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and SEM.
  • Understanding of how to make engaging digital content that drives customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Experience creating market segmentation, target audiences, and email campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and e-commerce technologies.
  • Proficiency with E-commerce platforms and web app integrations (particularly Shopify).
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient with Excel, with the ability to create and interpret reports for forecasting, planning, and ROI analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to champion new ideas and inspire a team.
  • Experience with multi-channel e-commerce strategies, including marketplaces (e.g., Amazon Seller), social commerce, and omni-channel retail.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing digital landscape.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
