Southern Services is Hiring a Painter/Sheetrock Installer Near Hilton Head Island, SC

Fast-growing construction and maintenance company looking to hire a full-time painter/sheetrock installer for work on Hilton Head Island. This is an established company serving Hilton Head for 35 years. We are looking for hard-working experienced painter/sheetrock installers who have great customer service skills. Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Conduct repair work and installation of sheet rock, interior and exterior wall repairs to various wall types such as drywall and stucco.
Job site preparation-unloading tools, laying out drop cloths or paper to protect ground surfaces
Daily site clean-up-ensuring no paint is on ground surfaces, garbage is removed and bagged up, all tools are cleaned and stored
Ability to meet critical timelines and work independently or in teams.
Must have effective communication skills.
Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations (a plus).
Provide excellent customer service.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
