We are looking a passionate All-Star Head Cheerleading Coach to help lead our brand new competitive team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in competitive cheer/tumbling, be able to motivate and inspire young athletes and be able to teach proper technique and safety protocols. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in competitive cheerleading and tumbling.
• Familiarity of USASF rules.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn the scoring rubrics and be able to make sure teams are meeting level requirements.
• Commitment for the entire 2024-2025 season.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with cheerleaders, parents, and other coaches.
• Register all athletes into USASF, ensuring eligibility, and handling competition logistics, including registrations, numbers allocation, and scoring verification.
• Must be able to respond to questions and challenges as needed with kindness and professionalism.
• Use knowledge of cheer and tumbling skills to assist in classes and practices.
• Teach proper technique and safety protocols for stunts, jumps, and tumbling to improve team and individual athlete performance.
• Effective communication is vital, requiring oversight of music, choreography, routine reviews, and scoring.
• Be integral to the success of the All Star Program, fostering a supportive and thriving environment for athletes, teams, and coaches alike.

Maintaining high morale among All Star teams is facilitated through various initiatives, including coordinating events like Spirit Week, dress-up days, team challenges, and more. This role further encompasses the coordination of end-of-season events, showcases, and banquets, ensuring they align with the allocated budget.
