SummaryThe Training and Development Specialist plays an instrumental role in identifying training needs, creating and implementing training modules, and managing training interventions from inception to completion. This role involves designing engaging curricula and content tailored to various learning styles, delivering training through multiple platforms, and continuously improving content based on feedback and industry trends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses in departments and providing suggestions or solutions to enhance efficiencies.
  • Assist in scheduling and/or organizing 3rd party training.
  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, modules, aids and manuals.
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
  • Ensure high quality training curriculum and instruction.
  • Help facilitate group interactions such as meetings, seminars, workshops and team meetings, and lead classroom and distance-learning sessions.
  • Stays informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news
