We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scale House Clerk. As a Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of our metal recycling operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing stellar customer service!

```Duties:```

• Weigh and purchase inbound scrap, obtaining required information from customers for all transactions. Complete purchasing and shipping documents.
• Calculate daily transactions using computerized programs and balance cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Perform general office administration duties.
• Serve as a cashier, greeter and possibly other positions as needed.
• Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other teammates as needed.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities while providing a high level of support in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the willingness to learn.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, work independently and multitask.
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn in house systems.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Able to work a half day everyother Saturday.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

```Qaulifications:```

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
