WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The successful candidate administers professional facials, waxing services and body treatments, as assigned, to our guests. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa's specific facial and body treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: * Provide consistent professional facial and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices * Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls * Complete end of shift inventory on your room/cart and restock all necessary products, notify management of low stock items * Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas * Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures * Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room/cart as required * Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention * Creates and maintains client cards with treatment notes, when appropriate * Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as home care programs, promotions and/or discounts available * Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously * Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction * Work efficiently and effectively without direct supervision * Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa/hotel * Follow all Spa timeliness standards, to include arriving at least one-half hour prior to the start of each appointment * Greet and complete established procedures for arriving guests by beginning on time for the appointment and completing within the allotted time * Contribute to team/company engagement efforts * Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: * Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time * Ability to remain calm and polite in stressful situations * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Schedule flexibility to include working evenings and weekends to support the needs of the spa * Compute basic arithmetic and mathematical calculations * Organized and detail oriented * Excellent time management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and guest satisfaction
