Needed: part-time Medical Assistant or Licensed Practice Nurse to provide support and at-home healthcare services on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by delivering high-quality wound care support in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Providing clinical support to wound care Nurse Practitioner.
• Accompanying NP to patient homes or other outpatient settings to provide medical support.
• Documentation of patients' progress and treatment plans in a timely and compliant manner.
• Collaborate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Primary Care, Post-Surgical, or other referrals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Providing patient education on wound care techniques and self-management strategies.
• Adhering to professional, ethical an legal standards of practice in order to maintain a safe environment for patients
• Handling of medical supplies including but not limited to taking an inventory of and keeping a steady stock on hand at all times.
• Assisting the NP with any other duties needed to provide exceptional wound care.

Requirements:

• Current MA or LPN certification and/or state licensure
• Experience in outpatient wound care settings or wound care management
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
