Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and other equipment according to project specifications
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar PV systems
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and system design
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction and electrical work
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to interpret blueprints
- CDL certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
