Southern Graphic Systems, LLC is Hiring a Packaging & Color Analyst 1 Near St. Louis, MO

Description

Position Summary

Execute strategic technology related objectives to deliver obtainable customer results as they relate to workflow, color management, process improvement and overall technology in an onsite setting.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

  • Onsite color expert. Provide direct customer support in an onsite environment establishing strong working relationships with internal customer and the SGS support teams.
  • Attend client meetings and present technical information in an understandable level. Liaison between marketing/design and print.
  • Provide technical expertise for facilities performing separations for the end user or printer and to sales, customer service and production staff.
  • Maintain and oversee color management systems and processes, including profile generation and development.
  • Excellent understanding of spectrophotometers and color tolerances. Must have the ability to analyze press samples and produce reports related to the results.
  • Maintain remote proofing equipment, supplies and organize repairs to ensure maximum proofing "up-time".
  • Attend press approvals on the customer's behalf (when required).

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

  • 7-10 years prepress or imaging experience
  • 3-5 years of color management experience
  • Extensive experience in color management and prepress workflows

Qualifications
Experience
7 - 10 years: Years prepress or imaging experience (required)
3 - 5 years: Years of color management experience (required)
Extensive experience in color management and prepress workflows (required)
