Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $106,700 - $142,600 / year plus incentives. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidates' education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview:
The Director, Organizational Design serves as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, delivering leading-edge organizational design consulting services and tools for highly complex and large-scale organizational redesigns of key significance to SGWS. The role will consult and coach leaders on a variety of organization design issues including but not limited to operating model structure, modernization of functions, workforce planning, roles, and accountabilities, for both current needs and future growth. Embedding and facilitating the use of proven OD methods, processes and tools across the company while building OD acumen in our leaders and HR business partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute significantly to the development, embedment, and roll-out of OD methodologies, tools and templates at an enterprise, function and division level.
  • Partner with HRBPs on conducting evidence-based organization diagnosis, identifying organizational change needs to enable the transformation of strategy, structure, systems, and processes, and developing future state approaches.
  • In collaboration with HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, Culture, D&I, etc.), develops prioritized recommendations that identify the outcomes, methods, and resources required for a successful intervention, along with any dependencies/inter-dependencies that will need to be accounted for in the work.
  • Oversee the development of a strategic workforce plan to ensure that the right roles and capabilities are in place to support the current and future business needs.
  • Leverage change management methodologies to facilitate the understanding and adoption of new roles and processes.
  • Provide end-to-end client management to HRBPs including consultation, diagnostics, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Build and scale enterprise approach, methodology, and framework for Organization Design and workforce planning including organizational assessment, team effectiveness, resources and tool.
  • Manage the process for preparing organization design alternatives, testing them against design criteria, and aligning leadership groups around design selection and implementation.
  • Support HR Business Partners in organizational changes, providing process support and tools that facilitate organizational transformations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leads through the organization design process.
Additional Primary Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with HRIS and People Analytics, leverage technology and data analytics to assess org performance, recommend opportunities for optimization, and measure the effectiveness of actions.
  • Researches and leverages industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices; providing guidance to HR and business leads when difficult decisions need to be made.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • 7 years of experience as an HR Leader with an emphasis on org design, process mapping, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Experience in large organizations with complex/matrixed structures.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth-oriented business.
  • Experience leading a company-wide implementation of change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior management.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
  • Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Strong Change Management design and implementation experience.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing the direction of projects and strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can relate well to a variety of levels in the organization.
  • Ability to travel overnight, approximately 50%.
Physical Demands:
  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lb.
