Overview

The Customer Development Manager provides Insight & Analytic support to our retail customers, and will assist in identifying opportunities and making recommendations that deliver category and customer growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
• Experience with category management principles, syndicated data, shopper / consumer insights, and space management principles and software (Blue Yonder)
• A demonstrated high-level understanding of Customer Development / Category Management processes and practices along with the ability to collaborate with Walmart to deliver insights and recommendations within six key domains : Macro Level, Retailer & Market, Consumer, Shopper, 4 Ps (Product / Assortment, Placement / Merchandising, Promotion, Pricing) and Operational
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products, Spectra, Nielsen, and Luminate Previous experience with Walmart or adult beverage strongly preferred

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing / keyboarding or using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping May require occasional lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
