**Job Summary:**Now is the time to join our team! We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our family practice and play a key role in creating healthier, happier smiles! This position offers opportunities to learn new skills, advance your career, and gain valuable experience! The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a proactive nature, and a strong sense of ownership and integrity!
**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant program or experience in the field
- X-ray certification
- Experience with dental software programs
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
**Responsibilities:**- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Location:**Spartanburg, SC
**Hours:**
Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Friday 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
**Salary:**Very competitive pay based on experience. Willing to train the right candidate.
