Southern Concrete Materials, Inc is Hiring a Precast Laborer 2 Near Fletcher, NC

- All responsibilities of Laborer 1
- Expert knowledge on operation of 2 areas
- Working knowledge of 1 additional area, or concentration in difficult area
- Assist in quality inspections
- Assist in production reporting and production controls
- Able to change over forms between products without assistance
- Able to make minor repairs to forms and structures as needed
- Certification to operate forklift to assist in plant operations
- Lead work area by example and train other employees
- Communicate effectively to supervisor regarding change overs and additional tasks
- Work performed in a concrete plant with varying temperatures.
- Some work required outdoors in weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required
- Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely
- Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work possible
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
