Southern California Emergency Medicine is Hiring a Clinic Manager Near Riverside, CA

Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized and motivated Clinic Manager for a fast-paced urgent care.

Location:

Riverside Urgent Care: 18876 Van Buren Blvd Riverside, CA 92508

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Vice President, manages all administrative systems at the site, including patient and paper flow. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the clinic as related to patients, staff members and the facility; including personnel work schedules; and approves time cards. Submits reports and ensures compliance with performance standards, follows and implements policies, protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

Administrative Functions:

1. Meet corporate performance standards and enforce corporate policies and procedures.

2. Follows medical policies and procedures.

3. Set expectations in full detail, provide feedback in “real time,” and maintain individual accountability of staff members through performance reviews, outcome measuring and the development of their improvement plans.

4. Train staff as necessary.

5. Evaluate provider support staff and administrative employees in accordance with policies.

6. Report inappropriate behavior and misconduct of other staff members.

7. Recommends hiring and termination of employees.

8. Attend and participate in meetings as required.

9. Hold quarterly staff meetings and maintain agendas for all meetings.

10. Submits a monthly expense report.

11. Investigate, resolve, and report patient, provider or staff complaint.

15. Be present at the clinic Monday-Friday, 8:45AM-5:15PM.

16. Resolve operating issues and problems.

17. Support all administrative and support staff.

18. Other related duties and tasks as assigned.

Staff Supervision:

1. Responsible for accuracy and approval of time cards for staff under his/her supervision. Facilitates processing of payroll by submitting time cards.

2. Provides staff training as necessary and ensures compliance with new employee and annual training requirements.

3. Evaluates staff performance directly.

4. Conducts employee corrective action, improvement plans, provides guidance and conducts annual evaluations by collaborating with HR.

5. Responsible for ensuring staff compliance with all SCEM policies and procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Annual Salary Range: $66,560-$81,120

Benefits and Compensation

A competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits packet is offered. Compensation is based off experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Excellent social skills, professional demeanor, and leadership.

2. Excellent organization, maintain an organized workspace and time management.

3. Detail Orientation.

4. Excellent follow-up and follow-through.

5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

7. 2 years of management experience. Preferably in medical office setting.

Education

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Bachelor’s in business or health related field (Preferred)

Language

English (Required)

Spanish (Preferred)
