Southern Atlantic Mechanical, is seeking a Foremen to join the Commercial Plumbing Division. The Foreman's role is critical to the success of each project and will have direct oversight of field personnel. The Foreman will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from start to finish, which will include direct supervision/coordination of all field employees. They will be responsible for the quality of work, adherence to schedules/timelines, and completion of projects within budget. The Foreman will also serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, vendors and on-site superintendents. Essential Functions:

• Ensure field crews are following required safety procedures, utilizing proper PPE and delivering weekly safety training.
• Understand and analyze blueprints and specifications to identify requirements for the project, provide layout support and manage labor/material.
• Organize the necessary documentation from job startup to closeout phases.
• Maintain and update project schedules as needed.
• Attend project meetings with clients, architects, engineers and general contractors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Manage field crews for all phases of projects, ensuring quality work and timely completion of tasks.
• Inspect all completed work to ensure adherence to local codes and company quality standards.
• Motivate crews and maintain high employee morale.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background Check and Drug Screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years experience in commercial construction
• Master Plumbing License
• Previous management experience
