Job Description: TheLow Voltage Technician performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of structured cable, fire alarm, CCTV, and access controls.
Job Duties:
Install/Program/Commissioncabling and installation of access control, CCTV/IP video, OR other low-voltage systems.
Effectively communicate the status and operation of the low voltage systems to the team.
Work both in a team environment or on their own with minimal supervision.
Must have a desire to learn, succeed, set goals, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
Capable of performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
A strong background and knowledge of commercial/industrial low-voltage cabling and installation. Willing to train the right applicant.
Good communication skills and strong computer skills.
Valid driver s license and can pass the background requirements.
The ideal candidate will have programming experience.
