Southeastern Property Management is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Wisconsin Dells, WI

Assistant Manager - SPM, LLC- Pioneer Ridge & Park Place Apartments- Wisconsin Dells, WI
SPM, LLC, a full-service national property management firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager.
The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager in the general administration and physical operation of the apartment community. A strong emphasis should be placed on leasing of the community in order to ensure an acceptable rental occupancy level is maintained.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Property leasing/management experience required.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others in the absence of the Community Manager. The ability and willingness to accept and follow the directions of others.
  • Must be friendly, a fast learner and self-motivated.
  • At least one year leasing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Ability to conduct yourself, both at work and off duty, in a manner that does not adversely affect the image of the community.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the community and the residents' welfare.
  • Ability to respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the community.
  • Possession of character traits of honesty, dependability, courtesy and cooperativeness.
  • Ability to comply with all governmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, environmental and safety laws and regulations.
  • Ability to comply with all community policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate well with residents and applicants orally and in writing. Some responsibilities include filing, answering phones, processing applications and backing up the manager with other day-to-day tasks.
  • Must have valid driver's license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
  • Drug test and background check required; weekends required.
