We are currently seeking a receptionist to work our Physical Therapy Front Desk at our Murphy Wainer Orthopedics Division.
Qualified applicants will have at least 1 year of prior medical reception experience with an understanding of medical terminology.
Duties include:
1. Greet and check patients in, entering patient information , including insurance information into the computer system;
2. Answers incoming calls in courteous, professional and timely manner;
3. Triage messages to determine where message should be routed, the urgency of message;
4. Schedules patient appointments with providers;
6. Verify Insurance, Collect payments, enter and post payments, including patient co-pays and balance payments;
7. Other duties as assigned;
