Serves as member of the team to identify, coordinate and administer insurance, reimbursement and financial assistance programs for fully insured, uninsured and underinsured. Also advocates for under and uninsured patients to identify pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical patient assistance programs. This individual is an advocate for both patients and hospital clients by ensuring that patients are covered appropriately and hospitals receive the reimbursement to which they are entitled.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years of experience working in a healthcare administration or billing and collections preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate professionally, in both verbal and written communication
• Basic PC and data entry skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and work effectively under stressful situations
