Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join our team! The successful candidate will provide Lab support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This position is an on-site and located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Configuration Management/Data Management functions: Planning, configuration identification, configuration control, status accounting, audits and data management
• Perform asset management of all program hardware assets, track movements and locations of all assets, and maintain data records and libraries with updated status accounting information
• Represent the Hardware Lab team at program meetings/working groups ensuring that concerns are communicated or impacts are brought back for issue resolution
• Develop and maintain CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide Status Reports / Metrics utilizing MSWord Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and other tools
• Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (such as SharePoint, VIEWNet, ASM, iPDM, etc)
• Review Ship Change Documents (SCDs) to determine system applicability and impacts to lab assets
• Conduct quarterly site hardware audits

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• Knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, primarily MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers
• Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
• Self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
• Ability to write clear, logically sequenced and grammatically correct documents
• Ability to review change documents and understand impacts to existing systems
• Lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and climbing in support of receipt and audit inspection of equipment in the lab

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior knowledge of core Aegis elements and/or IAMD
• Advanced Configuration Control Engineering Status System (ACCESS) or All Sites Module (ASM) experience
• 1-3 years of previous CM experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in technical field
• Prior asset management or lab environment experience
