Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and periodically refreshing the network and server infrastructure, identifying network requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring, and tuning the network for performance and high availability. Maintains a diligent focus on securing the network environment; protects the organization's critical data. On occasion, provides help desk support to end-users for desktop and system issues. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with staff, patients, families and visitors of all age groups, while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
