School of Nursing – WORC | Cape Girardeau, MO | Full Time

Job Summary
One personnel will be hired to administer and oversee all grant funded training activities conducted in all 29 counties of the Missouri Delta and Ozark counties. This position is a grant-funded, full-time, temporary position with the potential to become a fulltime permanent position. The positions will report to the President of CNHS (PI) and will report on all activities to each co-investigator. The incumbent will be provided with a computer and requisite software to be successful; and will be expected to provide their own travel within the designated counties as appropriate, as well as coordinate and oversee training via Zoom or other virtual software. The training supervisor may be located on the CNHS campus with the ability to work remotely as necessary. Applicants must be a self-starter, self-motivated and complete work as expected without direct supervision. Applicant's ability to complete responsibilities and meet deadlines is necessary. Exceptional communication and public relation skills are essential.
Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement all orientation, training and evaluation of program trainers
  • Supervise and coordinate all trainer activities and business contacts
  • Coordinate and approve all curriculum designed and delivered based on best practices
  • Coordinate and approve all asynchronous content and methodology for delivery via a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Review all proposed trainers for each event
  • Oversee/administer employer/employee events
  • Approve all certificates of completion
  • Administer the creation of partnerships and career-pathways
  • Support the PI and Co-PIs in approving candidates/participants
  • Review credentials and experience of all contracted trainers
  • Approve all training for Missouri Delta healthcare providers, ensuring quality and alignment with the institution’s accreditation standards
  • Oversee the development and delivery of pre and post survey tools in determining the ideal training environment and delivery using outcome measures for appropriate modification as necessary
  • Provide final approval for assessment of all outcomes, training, and efficacy of program activities
  • Develop and provide all reports to the PI and co-PI’s according to guidelines and timelines
  • Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission and abide by the Values of the organization
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree Or equivalent degree graduate degree (Education, Health Sciences, Nursing, Business, Management, Public Policy, etc.) required
  • Minimum of 1 year Direct healthcare field or workforce environment (indirect experience may be considered) required
  • Minimum of 1 year Trainer or educator required
  • Minimum of 6 months Learning Management Software (LMS), used for synchronous content delivery required
