Job Summary

The Sourcing Provider and Events Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking and facilitating all activities surrounding recruitment. The Sourcing Provider and Events Specialist shall collaborate with many physicians, directors, and nurse managers to provide a thorough recruitment process for the candidate as well as Administration. The Sourcing Provider and Events Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing company events and activities.

Essential Functions

  • Works with hiring managers to gain knowledge of the practices for which he/she is responsible for recruiting
  • Understands recruitment and how to interpret skills and abilities needed for each vacant position
  • Determines the appropriate recruitment resources
  • Cultivates and sustains strong relationships with the operational leadership, Clinic Managers, physician leadership, HR Business Partners and others involved in the recruitment process at multiple levels within the organization
  • Conduct searches through a variety of methods including, but not limited to, advertising, professional organizations, colleges/universities, residency and fellowship programs, networking, direct mail, job fairs, and the internet
  • Continue to look for new and innovative ways to attract highly qualified, diverse candidates
  • Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process including screening, scheduling, interviewing, and site visit follow-up
  • Input and maintain data including sourcing information, interview schedules, non-selection reasons, and offer information in a database to ensure accurate record keeping
  • Provide exceptional service, quality, and on-going communication to all parties involved throughout the recruitment process
  • Represents SoutheastHealth at multiple career fairs
  • Must maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Coordinates onboarding activities to ensure a smooth start date (i.e. HR paperwork, credentialing paperwork and Educational Services requirements)
  • Coordinates with marketing for announcements
  • Connects new employee with resources within the community
  • Coordinates and assists with retention activities and events
  • Monitors statistics for assigned recruitment
  • Works to ensure time to fill meets the staffing/recruitment goals based on position
  • Tracks turnover and determines appropriate actions based on goals
  • Records sourcing methods by discipline
  • Plans, organizes, and executes company events and activities for internal employees. These include the annual holiday events and employee/ family events
  • Plans, organizes, and executes site visits, meetings, and events for external candidates
  • Coordinates and oversees an event planning committee that proposes new ideas and creative solutions to improve the quality of organization events and the efficiency of the overall event planning and implementation process
  • Negotiates vendor contracts, including venues, catering, décor, entertainment, and signage
  • Maintain events/activities calendar, track budget and ensure appropriate records and documentation are kept for all employee engagement events and activities
  • Promote employee engagement and active participation in events and activities, through various forms of communication to staff (in-person, e-mail, flyers, intranet)
  • Ensures the event planning committee and volunteers observe policies and procedures of SoutheastHEALTH and necessary approval is obtained for employee engagement events and activities. Involve key stakeholders and seek appropriate approval for all events and ensure events support the overall strategic direction of the organization
  • Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission, and abide by the Values of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Human resources, business, marketing, communications, public relations, clinical discipline or related field required
  • Experience in human resources, marketing, health care or communications is preferred
  • Recruiting or related health sales experience preferred
