Southeast Health is Hiring a Data Abstractor Near Cape Girardeau, MO
- Review of cancer patient medical records in relation to staging, treatment planning and follow-up
- Must abstract and report data under the direct guidance of a certified cancer registrar
- Prepares reports, agendas and meeting minutes for the Cancer Committee
- Assists with timely submission of data to National Cancer Database
- Assists with coordination and preparation for weekly cancer conference
- Attends Cancer Committee
- Assists with cancer related educational planning
- Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission and abide by the Values of the organization
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year Oncology experience preferred
