Southeast Christian Church is Hiring a Pastoral Care Coordinator - Central Ministry Near Louisville, KY

Do you have the gifts of compassion and administration? Do you want to serve hurting people? Our Pastoral Care Coordinator supports our church managing funeral arrangements and hospital visits in a confidential and caring way.
Essential Functions:

Build and foster supportive relationships with campuses and other ministries
Gather and distribute pastoral care information as needed to campus staff, deacons and volunteers
Plan, coordinate and host on-campus funerals
Recruit ministers to officiate funeral services
Manage multiple channels of incoming communication
Maintain a hospital, nursing home and homebound visitation database
Maintain a schedule of serving for staff, deacons and volunteers
Generate and distribute grief notes sent by ministers to members who have lost a loved one
Coordinate sending flowers to funeral homes
Oversee 12-Hour prayer line ministry
Develop new systems and improve current systems to enhance the operations of the ministry.

Required Education, Experience, and Membership:

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Church ministry experience required
Member of Southeast Christian Church who supports our statement of faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church mantras in tangible ways.
