Southeast Behavioral Services is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Sevierville, TN

SUMMARY:

Southeast Behavioral Services serves families in Sevierville, Tn and surrounding cities. We are seeking an RBT to join our small but growing team to provide behavior therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays. We provide services in the client homes and in the communities of the cities we serve, as well as in our clinic location in Morristown. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a desire to enroll in a graduate program in ABA and work toward their BCBA certification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must enjoy working and playing with children.
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to clients with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental delays.
  • Communicate with clinical supervisors and client parents on questions, concerns, progress, etc.
  • Work in a professional manner, adhering to the ethics and confidentiality requirements of our field.
  • Collect, analyze, and update data; organize/create materials, research activities, etc.
  • Fill out session notes accurately and timely after each session.
  • Engage in on-going staff training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active RBT certification or the desire and ability to obtain one.
  • Undergraduate degree in psychology or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, or engage in other positions for extended periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to various areas where therapy is provided.
  • Active CPR certification or the ability to obtain one.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
