JOB TITLE: Community Education Program Coordinator (High School Youth) - After School/Part-time
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Community Education Program Coordinator will specialize in working directly with Community Education programs to enhance after school high school academic and enrichment programs at the Faribault Education Center. This is a part-time, after school program that will be available from mid-April through the end of the school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Interacts with students and families to enhance and support the student’s education experience and ensure success
Responsible for proactively tracking progress and creating homework help options for students
Guides the work of tutors and enrichment activity leaders
Creates a comfortable learning environment that supports our diverse student population
Collects and maintains relevant data
Upholds data privacy and security
Speaks directly with parents and students
Assists in the planning and implementation of high school-age activities
Works hours that complement out of school time (after school) programming
Collaborates with all FPS and community partner stakeholders relevant to the position
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Infinite Campus or other school district Management Information System
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience with or can learn Salesforce or other Community Education data systems
Basic math skills, e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and some Algebra
Willingness to work afternoons
Must adhere to performance guidelines
Other duties as assigned
SALARY: $27.11/hour
