The Assistant Nursing Manager for Primary Care serves as a nurse leader and assists with direct patient care as patient care needs require. The ANM is responsible for nursing (including RN, LPN, CNA, clinical/medical assistant) orientation, competency oversight, and quality of care. Plans and assists in nurse staff scheduling in coordination with the Nursing Manager.

Hiring Requirements

• This position does require supervisory responsibilities.

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required Experience

• Nursing degree from accredited nursing program – required.
• Active nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required. Direct Hire must have applied for an Alaska nursing license at time of hire. Agency staff must have an active Alaska license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire date – required.
• High school diploma or GED Experience Required
• Two or more years of professional nursing experience with a minimum one year in ambulatory care –required.
• Prior supervisory experience – preferred but not required.

Pay: $97,484.00 - $130,000.00 per year
