We are a company based in Columbus, GA with multiple companies and holdings looking for an experienced bookkeeper/CPA to assist with our day to day bookkeeping and accounting needs. This role will be focused primarily on our Senior (Assisted) Living Facilities operating in Alabama but the position will be based at our corporate office in Columbus (or remote for the right candidate) . Duties include making entries in QuickBooks Online accounting software for AR/AP, payroll and payroll reports, account reconciling, and tax reporting. We will only consider applicants with the following qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant OR 2-4 year related degree AND 4 years experience in advanced level bookkeeping.
• Proficient with Quickbooks Online accounting software (a test will be given to demonstrate proficiency). Proficiently in similar software with additional experience may be substituted.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or similar spreadsheets
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a fast paced team environment

This is a part time position as an independent contractor with flexible hours. We prefer the position to be onsite at our Columbus GA office but there may be potential for remote work for the right candidate.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
