Position: Security Attendant - Property Welcome Center

As a Security Attendant at Southall's Greeter Cabin you are the first point of contact for welcoming our guests and are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of not only them but the employees, assets and property. This role supports and contributes to a "World Class" guest service experience. Duties may vary according to assignment/location and may include monitoring and movement of traffic to/from the property and providing assistance in a professional and hospitable manner; security and emergency response; support for staff, guests, and vendors; and access control to the property.

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $18 - $20/hour Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Act as a first point of contact to welcome guests in a warm hospitable manner
• Ability to use two-way radio communication devices
• Monitor CCTVs
• Be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior
• Commitment to delivering world class internal/external guest service
• The ability to demonstrate a professional and polished appearance as well as successfully maintain professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated ability to write and complete reports in computer-based software.
• Must be proactive and take initiative where appropriate; ability to troubleshoot and handle a variety of guest and employee situations in a professional manner consistently.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic guest service team
• Retain knowledge of Southall protocols and policies.
• Ability to use a computer and various software platforms
• Work with Guest Services, Spa, and Restaurant team members.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement or security preference
• Ability to communicate well

Experience:

• Customer Service
• Hospitality security
• Law Enforcement
• Must be a minimum age of 21

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to earn various Security training certifications provided by Southall
