Description:
The South Western School District is looking for a highly qualified, innovative, and passionate educator for an intermediate school Learning Support Teacher. This position is for the 2022-2023 school year. The primary job goal for this position includes planning for and carrying out instruction and student supervision in accordance with the priorities, policies, and procedures of the South Western School District. Minimum qualifications include: (1) PA K-12 or PK-8 Special Education Certificate; Middle Level or 7-12 Math certification preferred (2) Clean criminal history in accordance with all PA mandated background checks (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151); (3) Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills; and (4) the Ability to effectively plan and deliver high quality, rigorous, meaningful, relevant, and standards-aligned instruction.
