The South Western School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position in the district. This employee would be required to have their LPN. Minimum qualifications include: An associates degree or higher or a minimum of 48 completed credit hours of postsecondary education; Clean Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 Background Checks/Clearances; Experience working with students in an academic or non-academic setting and knowledge of effective behavior management and conflict resolution techniques; Strong interpersonal, human relations, organizational, and communication skills; .the ability to sit or stand 80% of the workday, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. Preference will be given to candidates with current CPR and First Aid certification and all candidates must be willing to obtain and keep up to date with CPR and First Aid certification.
