Corporate Collections Administrator
Title: Corporate Collections Administrator Reports to: Controller

Primary Role:
Responsible for the collection of accounts receivable. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Ensuring that all customer accounts are current and past due accounts are followed up and pursued. Additionally, this position will be responsible for analyzing customer history to ensure that payments were applied as intended and that remaining open items in dispute are resolved as quickly as possible. This person will serve a critical customer service role in providing information to various points of contact within our customer’s organization in order to effect timely collection. Additionally, this position will also recommend, and process adjustments and write-offs as needed.
Responsibilities:Collections:
1. Monitor accounts receivable and contact customers as needed to forecast collections
2. Contact delinquent accounts to request payment and provide additional documentation as necessary
3. Provide documentation as needed to customer to assist invoice processing and prepare project reconciliations as needed
4. Prepare reports of past due accounts monthly
5. Assist accounting department with overflow and other duties as assigned
6. Other duties as required or assigned from time to time
Accountability:
The Collections Administrator will be accountable to the Controller and CFO. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, employees and customers of the company.
Qualifications:
The Collections Administrator shall possess a minimum of two years' experience in the field of Accounting or Collections. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, have superior math and critical thinking skills. Proficient with accounting software buying systems. Individual must have good communication skills, self-starter and the ability to perform and complete high quality work.

2. Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
3. Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
6. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
7. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
8. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.
9. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
10. Valid and current driver's license.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
2. Some light lifting of objects is required.
3. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.
4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
5. Although most work is performed inside; occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
