Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biller to join our team. As a Biller, you will be responsible for accurately processing and submitting medical claims for reimbursement. Your role will involve working with medical records, coding systems, and utilizing your knowledge of medical terminology to ensure accurate billing and collection procedures.

Duties:
- Review and analyze medical records to determine appropriate billing codes
- Assign diagnostic codes using ICD-10 coding system
- Assign procedure codes using DRG coding system
- Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Coordinate with medical office staff to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance claims
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Proficient in medical office systems and software
- Strong understanding of DRG and ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of medical billing and collection procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
