Enrichment instructors will help deliver the afterschool activities, such as sports, arts, music, dance and other enrichment activities. The district will also hire academic tutors and homework helpers.

Enrichment instructors are hired either as hourly part-time At-Will Employees or as extra-duty employees depending on the professional status of the person. Compensation is based on district's approved compensation policy. Enrichment instructor and/or tutor report directly to the campus ACE site coordinator and are supervised jointly by site coordinator and project director. Employment and work hours scheduled are contingent on campus grant needs. On average staff will be hired for 1 to 3 hours per day during before school and/or afterschool hours during the school year and up to four hours during the summer program. Some evening and weekend work may be scheduled for special events.

Funded by Title I, Part A with the primary purpose of supporting grant activities aimed at improving academic achievement for students struggling to meet state standards.
