Location:
Secondary Building Effective immediately, South St. Paul Schools is hiring for a High School Credit Recovery Coordinator for the SummerProgram. The Credit Recovery Program runs from June 10 through August 1; Monday through Thursday (27 days), 8:00am to 1:00pm (5 hours/day). The rate of pay for this position is $31.50/hour.
Specific job duties include:

• Supervision-
  • Mealtimes
  • Break/ transition times between classes
  • Students entering and exiting the building
• Support to teaching staff and site administrator
  • Teaching staff
    • Technology issues/needs
    • Student concern and minor behavior
    • Materials
    • Point of contact for students and parents
• Site Administrator (support)
  • Take and track attendance
  • Communicate with admin assistant to add/drop students from classes and program
  • Complete Continued Learning Plans for all students in the program
  • Check in with students about progress and next steps
  • Communicate with families and students
  • Communicate with staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Must have a valid Minnesota teaching license at the secondary level.
