South Shore Therapies is Hiring a Front Desk Coordinator Near Pembroke, MA

South Shore Therapies is seeking to hire a Front Desk Coordinator. This position will be located in our Pembroke, MA clinic.

South Shore Therapies is a premier Pediatric Occupational and Speech Therapy practice renowned for providing exceptional services for over 20 years! We are currently searching for motivated, energetic and personable individual to fill our Front Desk Coordinator position. This position will report to the company's Director of Operations and coordinate the front desk operations and staffing of our three clinics located in Pembroke, Hingham and Norwood.

The first month of employment will be comprised of training on all aspects of front desk operations and mastering a solid understanding of our business practice platform (InSync). Candidate will also gain a working knowledge of the clinical side of operations. Once the initial month of training concludes, responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the Front Desk, assigning tasks accordingly, and being the central point for questions, issues or concerns as they may arise.
  • Developing working relationships and keep open lines of communication with all front desk staff members.
  • Providing mentoring and leadership to front desk staff, train new hires.
  • Ensuring front desk operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Being the central point of contact for all InSync inquiries/issues related to front desk operations.
  • Staying abreast of InSync new releases and enhancements and disseminating such information as necessary.
  • Acting as a vital link between front desk staff and the Leadership team.
  • Coordinating and ensuring adequate staffing at all three front desks
  • Reviewing and approving time off requests and payroll hours.
  • Assisting with annual performance reviews.
  • Monitoring Front Desk procedure manual stays current and making updates as needed.
  • Visiting other clinics periodically.
  • Meeting weekly with Director of Operations to discuss operational matters.
  • Having at least 3 years of progressive, relevant work experience.

  • Strong technical skills.
  • Experience and proficiency with all Office 365 products including MS Teams calling. High level of MS Excel proficiency required.
