Busy Ophthalmology practice located in Massapequa, NY is seeking a part-time in person Medical Biller to join our Billing Team.
Responsibilities include:
*Call insurance companies regarding discrepancy in insurance payments.
*Check Insurance payments for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
*Follow-up on unpaid claims within a timely manner.
Responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the practice.
- Knowledge of medical terms & accurate data entry skills a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills
Applicants who demonstrate a willingness to learn, have strong organizational skills and can work in a busy office need only apply.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
