Production Director Job Description

Reports to:

Creative Arts Director

Hourly Commitment:

40- 45 hours per week (There are several large events each year that are critical for this

position. Some include: Christmas Services, Easter Services and other special nights of

worship)

Areas of oversight:

- Live Stream and Broadcast

- Live Sound

- Lighting programming

- Stage management, Backstage management,

and Live production from Front of house

- Student Production Team (Help Student production team grow and learn our systems

**Not required to be there every week)

- CR Production Team (Helping them build a team that can pursue excellence and

understands how to run our equipment - **Not required to be there every week, just help

with their teams)

Experience required:

- Live Sound (Operating on a DLive C3500)

- Live Recording and multitracking

- Livestream and broadcast

- Cameras

- ProPresenter 6 and above

- Planning Center

- Studio Recording and production

- Song writing experience

- Troubleshooting knowledge of Mac Computers and supporting softwares

- Blackmagic Design softwares for: Switcher, Web Presenter, Video Suite etc…

Expectations

- Be the type of person as described in our Employee handbook

- Be involved in a small group at South Shore

- Train up teams to lead Sound booth positions on Sunday mornings

- Oversee the Live production of Sunday morning services

- Help in Producing the future writing and recording endeavors

- Help implement a broadcom system for team communication on sundays

- Meet weekly with Creative Arts Director to plan for weekly services

- Help provide creative solutions for message illustrations, hosting devo’s and any other

places for creative moments on stage.

- Scheduling Live Services

- Annually help plan budgeting needs for upgrades and maintenance

Required Work Hours

- Monday Staff meetings (9:30am - 12:30pm)

- Weekly 1 on 1’s with Creative Arts Director (1 - 2 hours)

- Thursday night rehearsals (5:00pm - 9:00pm)

- Sunday morning services and set up (6:00am - 1:00pm)

There may be requested times outside of these hours, but essentially after these time blocks,

you will have flexibility to finish your job at your own discretion
