We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our fast paced independently owned and operated small animal exclusive veterinary hospital. Hours and schedule are somewhat flexible. Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right individual.

Knowledge of Cornerstone software system is preferred. Your duties will include the following but are not limited to these tasks. These duties will be performed based on experience: assisting the veterinarians during appointments, in-patient and out-patient care, prepping the room before/after appointments, running patients in/out of building, technician examinations, laboratory duties (i.e. Snap tests, preparing samples), safe animal handling and restraint, assist with digital radiography, medical record notation, housekeeping duties throughout the facility including cleaning, laundry and restocking, administrative duties, OSHA awareness and compliance, extraordinary customer service and maintaining a practical knowledge of the hospitals procedures, services and policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
