SPCAA’s Ryan White Part B HIV Services Program, Project CHAMPS, will allow you to blend the mission, vision and core values of the entire organization within the context of HIV medical and social support services along with your knowledge, experience and abilities in an effort to provide the best possible care and services to eligible individuals living with HIV within the 15 county Lubbock HIV Service Delivery Area.

SPCAA Project CHAMPS Lubbock is a Ryan White Part B HIV medical and social support services provider. This is a full-time hourly position reporting to the Project CHAMPS Program Director. Regular work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, non-traditional, and flexible hours are available. Some weekend work, and work-related travel related to special events may be required on occasion with prior notice and supervisory approval. Must be able to adapt to flexible work schedules as established by management.

The Data Manager will enter all services provided to clients into the program’s designated URN (Universal Reporting System), collect initial demographic data for all program applicants, verify eligibility of all clients, input and monitor data related to all content areas in Project CHAMPS, ensure consistency and integrity of the information, and formulate reports as required. This position will encourage and support Project CHAMPS by placing a strong emphasis on data management, data collection, data utilization, data validation and in complying with program data requirements and Performance Standards as set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services Ryan White Part B HIV Services Program. In addition, this position will be cross-trained in eligibility services and will also provide clerical and programmatic support to the Program Director and other Project CHAMPS Case Management Staff.

Minimum educational requirements for this position are: Must possess an associate degree in Data Management or related field. Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Information Science or related field is preferred. Two years of experience may be substituted for one year of college, if approved by the Program Director. Excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking skills and organizational skills required. Ability to communicate effectively and process information at a rapid pace to formulate and execute a plan of action with all levels of clients, employees, and management, both orally and in writing using correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation is required. Ability to also effectively present information and respond to questions in Spanish is preferred. Competitive salary, retention incentive pay available as well as re-location expenses considered.

Must be proficient in using Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat and be able to generate spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and forms as needed by the program and as assigned by the Program Director. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and time constraints, meet deadlines and work independently. Experience and knowledge in HIV/AIDS disease process and treatment and relevant data management and data entry experience are highly preferred.
